La mine de phosphate est actuellement exploitée par la société du phosphate togolais. Les habitants des environs ont été déplacés plus loin de la mine après l'apparition de maladies respiratoires et d'intoxications. La mine tourne 7 jours sur 7 et 24h sur 24.
